Autumn 1 – Thunderous Rainforests
This term, the children have thoroughly enjoyed our topic ‘Thunderous Rainforests’. They have produced some fantastic pieces of Amazonian Art, written informative leaflets about the Amazon Rainforest and created excellent ‘Rainforest Dioramas’.
We ended the half term by having Interclass football and netball matches. The children had to work together in their classes and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship.
We have had a great start to Year 4 and look forward to starting our ‘Wonderful Water’ topic after half term. We hope everyone has a fun and restful break.
W.b. 29/9/25
During the week beginning 6th October, we will be creating a diorama of a rainforest as part of our Design and Technology lessons. For this, all children will need a box (a shoebox is perfect). Please begin to bring these in next week. Your child may also want to bring in some extra materials for decoration.
W.b. 15/9/25
We would like to invite parents and carers to our Year 4 coffee morning on 23rd September from 9:00 - 9:45am. This will be an opportunity for you to meet school staff and other parents. In advance, please watch the following video which welcomes you to the year group and provides key information. If you have any questions following this video, please use this meeting as an opportunity to discuss them.
